Workforce Center Approved by City Council

Davis Center for Working Families to offer many workforce support services, help clients re-engage with educational opportunities and provide on-the-job training. The workforce center, a grocery store and other retail outlets will be located in the former Top Value Foods supermarket at 801 University Avenue in Des Moines and will open in mid-2012.   Click here to learn more.

Iowa Nonprofit Summit Seeking Presenters

The Iowa Nonprofit Summit is seeking workshop presenters offering high-quality training that is appropriate for volunteer management and nonprofit professionals. Participate in Birdies for Charity

The Principal Charity Classic's Birdies for Charity program provides a unique fundraising tool for your organization. Participating organizations receive 100% of every donation collected on their behalf and have the potential to earn extra money through the "Bonus Bucks" program, which is sponsored by Sammons Financial Group.   Applications for participation will be reviewed based on the following criteria: 501(c)(3) status recognized by the IRS and a significant portion of the organization's programming must target youth in Central Iowa or the organization must be a high school in Polk, Dallas, Warren or Story county. Jazz for Peace Partnership Opportunities
